How to remove scratches from Holo Pokemon Cards with Hyper Potion!

Thank you for purchasing HYPER POTION!

PLEASE WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO BELOW BEFORE YOU USE THIS PRODUCT! If you are too busy to watch it, you can review the written instructions below as an alternative but I still highly recommend watching the full tutorial.

How to use HYPER POTION

Practice using HYPER POTION on cheaper cards from the same set of the target card you want to clean before use.

This is most important for other Sports & TCGs.

Reverse holos and lighter background cards run the risk of being damaged if you use HYPER POTION with too much pressure.

LIGHTLY RUB IN HYPER POTION, NEVER USE EXCESSIVE FORCE.

Shake Hyper Potion Well Before Each Use

You can also use the foam applicator to mix the potion.

Store HYPER POTION in a room temperature environment.

It is best to clean the card first with Card Spray.

Grab a Clean Foam Applicator.

Dab a Tiny Amount.

A tiny pea sized amount is usually all you need.

Apply enough to cover the entire holo surface with a thin coat.

Take pictures of your card and post your before/afters on IG to get a shoutout!

Apply with LIGHT pressure.

Swirl on holo portion only.

Lighter background holos (silver/yellow vintage holos specifically) are very sensitive to HYPER POTION.

On darker colored holos, you can apply multiple times without much risk.

THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IS RUBBING WITH TOO MUCH PRESSURE!

You can cloud and damage the holo if you press too hard.

Use circular motions to spread the potion on the holo. Focus the swirls more on problem areas.

This application step usually takes around 60 seconds.

Buff with Clean Microfiber

Remove All Residue From Surface

Use a clean portion of the microfiber to LIGHTLY buff the surface of the holo.

Wipe away ALL the potion from the surface.

Use a bright light to ensure no residue remains or you risk the card being marked as altered.

This cleaning process usually takes around 90 seconds.

Take your time buffing in problem areas.

Let the card air out for 30 minutes.

It is best to apply Card Polish after this step to lock in the HYPER POTION

The card should air out to remove any smell of the potion before sleeving.

DO NOT RUB ON SURFACE AGGRESSIVELY

Lighter holo cards with a silver or yellow background are sensitive. These can damage if rubbing aggressively.

Certain reverse holos are also sensitive. You can use it but just don’t push hard. Finish with Card Polish for best results.

Use very light force when applying/removing potion. Ensure Microfiber is free of dirt as not to scratch your card.

I’ve tested on hundreds of Pokemon cards. It is safe to use on all Pokemon cards as long as you are not pushing hard.

If you’re nervous, apply in a small spot first before attempting the whole card.
